Oh I see, so your claim is that masks only work in one direction. 😂

No.

My claim is that (1) masks CAN play a role in limiting the spread of pathogens, (2) masks worn by lay people are PRIMARILY effective in preventing the wearer from spreading his/her onboard pathogens by water droplet dispersal, (3) even a perfectly fitting N95 respirator is only 95% effective in filtering inhaled viruses and other pathogens for the wearer, (4) poorly handled masks of all types do little to protect wearers, and bonus point (5) positive pressure, self-contained hazmat suits are the best means of protection. However, ANY error in donning and/or doffing of a hazmat suit -- and any other PPE -- can result in pathogenic transmission.

Glad to see a smile goes with those tears. Be well.

"CDC recommends everyday preventive actions to prevent the spread of respiratory viruses, such as avoiding people who are sick, avoiding touching your eyes or nose, and covering your cough or sneeze with a tissue." [...or a face mask]

"A respirator is used to reduce [not eliminate] the wearer’s risk of inhaling hazardous airborne particles (including infectious agents), gases or vapors."
