Watch China in the news right now. They are building up their national oil reserves, and becoming even more active in the South and East China Seas (military activity). They see a possible opportunity forming, I believe (they are very strategic thinkers, and opportunists). Bloomberg reported they are seeking 90 and potentially 180 day oil reserves, and are looking into locating unused commercial properties to create new storage tank locations for oil. The East China Sea is known to be rich in untapped oil, and China is trying to lay claim to it. The virus (supposedly) has been tamped down quickly in China, and predictably the pandemic has lowered the global price of oil, and has infected US military (USS Roosevelt), an Aircraft Carrier that patrols the Pacific/Asia, is badly impacted and docked in Guam. So while China is ramping up its industry again and their military is at the height of its power, China may think this is the moment to make a play for Taiwan, thinking the US (this Administration, economy, etc) would be less inclined to counter against it. Trump has made China his bitch, so does Xi plan a face-saving, bold move?

Yet all the while, we have learned that 21 MILLION Chinese have "dropped" their cell phone services in the past 3 months. China is a BEAST!

Maybe they were forcibly conscripted. The virus is not nearly virulent enough to support those numbers.
