To give you context for what I have to say: I was born in 1956; my mother in 1930; her father in 1900. He told my mother when she was a little girl, "Always read a law in it's entirety. I'll guarantee you, whatever they're granting you at the beginning of that law, they will have taken away -- and then some -- by the time you read to the end of it." Of course, that was back when laws weren't 5,000 pages long. And now you know why i provided the context!

It's why, no matter how much they mocked and scoffed, I knew there were "death panels" in Obamacare. Oh, it didn't call them that -- but I knew they were going to allow themselves the right to deny care for any and all reasons, often leading to patients' deaths (the more often, the better, no doubt).

Yeah, it was buried there in various subsections all over that bill. That's why it was, what? 5,000 pages long? Yep, that's why. People weren't stupid back then. No. The Idiocracy is now.
