Wishing you all the best anon. I don't have a whole lot of advice, but to keep at it. And try simply being MINDFUL. Do not just aimlessly, automatically perform tasks or go about your day. Actually THINK about each action.

At the store: do I NEED to park at close to the door as possible? Do I NEED to buy the junk food? Do I NEED to buy the alcohol?

At the office: do I NEED to take the elevator?

At home: do I really NEED another drink? Am I even hungry or just bored snacking?

While alcohol isn't my struggle, soda is. I've posted a few times here looking for advice or suggestions on kicking the habit. I got a lot of helpful responses. I hope more knowable anons chime in here too.

As far as sodas are concerned, your best bet is to stay far enough from them for long enough (supplement with Tea or something low sugar) that at some point you will have one and it will just taste grotesquely sweet. Soda is a result of perverted taste buds. I understand the oversimplification of this, but it will come to that point. Also stay away from artificial sweeteners as you may as well just keep drinking sodas if you consume those. Pure poison.

Thanks anon. This is similar to some of the advice I've gotten before. And I have experienced this! I've been making big strides and cutting soda. Not in the clear yet, but making progress!
