Read the War Powers Resolution, Public Law 93-148. It specifies the "Introduction of United States Armed Forcs." Based on the definition in the legislation and the facts of US Armed Forces have been statition in Iraq and conducting drone operations for years, President Trump did not violate the War Powers Resolution in any way. As the military forces have been stationed and engaged in hostilities within a foreign nation, the President is required to provide report periodically to Congress, up to six months. Congress should go back and re-read the Resolution in full and in context.

1) The attack happened in Iraq.

2) We are already stationed and active there.

3) A military Target that was not supposed to be outside of Iran was in Iraq.

4) At no point did anyone declare war, it was a single target.
