I sometimes wish I were oblivious to it all. Much less stressful that way.

Sometimes I feel that way. But my sleep was more than restless. After Obama won his second term I was for the first time in my life, a huge pessimist. I couldn't understand how everyone around me could carry on with this evil all around. And at that time, I didn't even know what the evil was, specifically. Better to identify and overcome than to live with the chronic weight and darkness. I have a feeling the euphoria that will follow the awakening is going to be better than can be imagined.

You are not alone. I've struggled with the normies ever since his second term election. Then again, look who he was running against. But still - how could they NOT see it? How could they ignore Benghazi and Fast and Furious and all the fuckery going on. The only thing that saved me and kept me in this country was the election of Donald Trump. I had given up on the country before that...

Constantly depressed, apathetic and no joy. Nothing to live for. Those were the days huh?
