Land Surveyors do not account for curvature
Bridge Builders do not account for curvature
NAVY's Railgun does not account for curvature
Do you know what those are?

Surveyors take measurements, Cartographers use that information to make Maps, there are many kinds of maps.
Bridge builders do not give a shit about anything other than the blueprints and the clock. Engineers that make the blueprints could not build a very big bridge if they did not account for the curvature of the earth.
The Navy Rail gun doesn't account for anything. The targeting system does that, and it uses the curvature in the calculations. If it didn't it wouldn't hit shit. In precision shooting at short distances the curvature causes the bullet to move a detectable amount in competition.

I'm pretty sure I've seen that word before in Globehead cabal textbooks.
