Tattoos are not Holocaust. Holocaust is people dying, not people tattooed.
There were no crematoriums to kill masses of Jews or anyone else. None. Zero.
There WERE Jews, homos, and others who were interned in camps during WWII, just like Americans interned Japanese-Americans.
The US interned Japanese-Americans for the same reason Germany interned Jewish-Germans: they didn't know which side they were on.
A case could be made that it was the wrong thing to do (to intern people), but the same logic was used on both sides of the Atlantic.
And neither country had any crematoriums or mass murders. Your neighbor living to 98 is evidence of that.
