You have a valid point about the poppy fields in Afghanistan and the resurgence of heroin. My son was there for a year, he drove a tracked recovery vehicle, and they had strict orders to stay out of the poppy fields. In the 20 years we've been in that shit-hole, poppy production has increased each year while deaths from heroin overdose here in the US increased correspondingly. I live in a rural area, and I've seen a dozen people die from heroin in this same period of time.

Afghanistan is an example of a fucked up war, agreed, but some situations still justify military action. You can't let Iran just spit in out face and get away with it.

I live in a flyover state and the heroin has surpassed meth here. From the VA prescribing (((OxyContin))) like PEZ and the private doctors pushing it for anything and everything, you cannot look at these two seemingly separate situations and not see the common thread. So I have said my point of view.

Besides saber rattling, why go to war with Iran? I also do not believe that Iran would sink that Japanese oil tanker as they were having a good meeting with Japan. Abe even said he didn’t believe it. Then a couple of days later they take out a drone who was conveniently on its final flight before retirement? They have been using false flags since the Lucitania, because it’s successful. These two latest ships seem to be little more than that.

I'm in MA, and we never had a meth problem here amazingly. It's popped up here and there over the years, but just never caught on for some reason. Opioids have been the bitch, started with the Perc 30s coming from the Pill Mills in FLA back in '05 or so, then FLA cracked down and the pills dried up. Heroin, the cheap, easily-obtainable option FLOODED the area, like I said, about a dozen people I knew personally have died from the shit. Last one was my neighbors kid, and I don't live in a drug-infested ghetto by any means, more like a retirement community.

I guess I came off seeming too eager for war (I guess it's easy for a 57 year old boomerfag sitting safely at home sipping his coffee), don't really want to see American lives put in danger, but I think the shit is gonna hit the fan with Iran eventually. Just saying that if it happens, it's not like we didn't warn them.
