Yes and no. It depends on lots of variables. Soil, weather, moisture humidity, context, dept, temperature, bugs, air, heat, etc. For example, in some case some part mummified or turn more rigid. In other words, dried out. Think of it as dried fruit. Or fruit leather. Thus some part remain attach for a while. Also bones are very shiny bright at the beginning. Then turn more yellow-beige as time go.

I saw in person lots, lots, lots, of full human skeletons, bones, and severed body parts. Alive, recently dead, and dead for a while. Often even similar parts decay differently. Assumes when I saw all of the above I was within local laws & community's agreements. There are some legal and normal context.
