When they first came up with the FISA, we libertarians said HELL NO! There is too much possibility of abuse toward regular citizens. Too much possibility of weaponizing the powers of the intelligence services for political reasons, and that is exactly what has happened. Now, either you are going to prosecute those guilt of this abuse, or we will get FISA repealed.

I’ve done a lot of thinking on this exact thing and I do agree that as a libertarianish type I was, too, screaming bad idea. It’s impossible to have a cookie jar and keep all bad hands out of it. The rubber stamp was virtually assured when we look at the bullshit going through the 9th circuit tour de corrupcíon heh.

Now that said - what if FISA from the start was set up as a trap of sorts KNOWING the Cabal wouldn’t be able to stay away?

From all of Q what I have gathered is CIA / DIA have always had keys to surveillance. When Echelon rolled out and NSA rapidly obtained backdoors to the Internet backbones themselves and cryptographic deciphering at the quantum level the Cabal had to be shitting their pants. Finally the scope of the legit white hat paradigm overshadowed them and Dark would Come to Light and they had no choice but to make a play to level the NSA.

And here we are.
