We had to have every "shot" in the military. We didn't have a choice. I hated that. Since I retired, I haven't had one shot. The VA keeps suggesting something, but I refuse all of them. I refuse all meds too.

I remember, bro. And I'm right there with you--since I got out, not ONE shot, not one flu shot, not one vaccine. I got out a long time ago (honorable after 4 years), and I avoid doctors like the plague. I will admit that during kidney stones, the VA has helped me out a couple of times including paying for an emergency procedure when my kidney was obstructed.
VA asks me every time I go in (which is rare) if I want a flu shot. And that's fine. ASK me. I say no. That's the end of it. This push for forced vaccinations isn't about health; it's about CONTROL.

I like having more control over my own body now. Last year, I lost it a bit and ended up in the "mental hospital"... They made me think that if I didn't take the medication, I couldn't leave. I took it reluctantly so I could get out. It was only a few days, but once I got out and saw my regular shrink, I didn't take it anymore. Never want to go back in that place again. It was like prison.
