This is true.. there are not a lot of BTC that will ever exist. So if people want to use them for this purpose they might have to bid as much as several cents each (per satoshi I mean).

Doesn't BTC go to 8 decimals? You can get .00000001 BTC. It's deflationary by design.

yes that's a satoshi. It's actually the native unit, not really a fractional unit. Just a matter of how you express it. We started with "BTC" because the smaller units weren't needed, but now mBTC is pretty common for example.
