No sauce, no upvote.

I searched and found a website that is apparently for the IPBA, posting this announcement. But it has no valid https certificate for the domain. I also notice its login form submits to a HTTP endpoint (transmits usernames/passwords unencrypted). Seems suspicious and is a big security no-no. They should have at least used a free Let's Encrypt cert.

Found a local Fox affiliate article on this, so I guess this announcement is legit.

But where did you get the text from? Is it online somewhere? Because anyone could type that up and post it, referring to the source corroborates the text

At best it's sketchy, at worst it's plagiarism. In an era of disinfo / fake news / mainstream news networks going Pravda (by the way, also April Fools day) this expectation should always be met when submitting a post about a newsworthy event. It's not asking much. Nobody should have to put in work to trace/guess where an OP might have originally copied the content from.
