He is said to have forfeited his 10000 dollar bond, however no plea deal was struck it seems, no court judgement against him which required him to pay a fine or perform community service. So, somewhere there must exist an order from that judge/court stating he agreed to pay the fine, which is of course an admission of guilt, and do the community service in return for charges dropped and record of arrest expunged....no, that can't be correct huh, you cannot drop charges AND charge a fine and punishment can you. One or the other, either charges were dropped, in which case there is no punishment because no charges huh...or you paid a fine which is guilt of something.
Where did the money go, who gave him a receipt for his forfeited bond? If he had charges dropped and they kept his bond, isn't that theft by the city? He should sue and get his 10 grand back, Chicago stole his money!
