The problem with those statistics is that the majority of those kids actually end up back with their parents unharmed.
Besides, it's not always some sacrificial shit. Sometimes it's science Guinea pigs, some time it's compelled servitude, sometimes it's organ harvesting, and yeah, a good portion could easily be sexual slavery. What if some of those kids went there to get rt away from their parents? What if there were discrepancies in the identification process and for some legal reasons, they can't count them for whatever reason on that census report statistic type of thing? What if they become homeless and are no longer kept track of? While I don't want to be purposefully blind with these things, sometime the first assumption isn't enough for me.
