Over the weekend, I watched Demolition Man with Stallone, Snipes, Denis Leary, Nigel Hawthorne and Sandra Bullock.. Seen it before but so many things suddenly jumped out at me this time..

For one, the general story of the so-called elites (led by corrupt Brit Hawthorne) living the high life and the degenerates being forced underground only appearing in order to steal food. Pretty much goes with the so-called elites plan to enslave everyone.

The elites all came across as a bunch of liberal pansies 'protected' by a weak wet impotent police force. The underground people are the strong ones and the perceived leader is the threat to and target of the corrupt Brit.

Everything is banned, free speech, cigarettes (that would bother me as a non smoker though!), alcohol, sex, swearing etc and the only restaurant chain to survive 'the great quake of 2010' was, ready for it.. Pizzahut!

Leary has his moment when he rants about what he wants, he's famous for that.

Code 187 - Murder Death Kill! Who would have thought 187 would feature in the film lol..?

It's worth a watch to 187 a couple of hours..

Taco Bell won the franchise wars in the movie.

I had to double check that because I could have sworn I heard them say Pizzahut.. Looks like they did two versions for some reason, one with Taco Bell, the other with Pizzahut. Maybe it was a localisation thing, we don't have Taco Bell here..

Huh, code 187 featured in a film. That is weird. As weird as this 1997 film called 187.
