Once you start finding & vetting the news yourself it is impossible to go back & read/listen to anything MSM (Fox included). About the only thing I use those for is to see what is trending (with them). That is educational as you will often see a total non-story plastered across all MSM outlets with no mention at all of others with real national importance. They really are all lying fucks.

This^. I get impatient with FOX even when I am watching just Hannity or Tucker Carlson. Haven't watched the regular news programs on FOX for years. It's not news. There's a reason they call it network "programming."

Same. My parents are "traditional conservatives" and my dad watches FOX every night. Whenever I'm over there visiting I watch with him just to see what sort of narriative they are going with, and get irked as they skirt the real source of the problem every time

Totally agree. I'm frustrated that my husband still watches it and then talks to me about the worries of everything. I would love to cut his cable off.

Give OAN a try. I think they're a little bit on the r/the_donald side of things but it feels like actual news and reporting, not just a series of scripts fitting some narrative. Maybe the feeling is just because of seeing the opposite constantly.
