When the Haitians figured out they'd been scammed again (by Democrats) they got pissed and expressed how much they like Trump. I think the Haitians are simply reacting to the situation a la "the enemy of my enemy is my friend".

For decades protests and riots have been a common occurance in Haiti. State Department travel info states protests can erupt spontaneously and can become violent. Most news outlets don't even report on most of the riots anymore. Crime, government corruption, poverty and natural disasters are so commonplace protest is one of the few outlets of expression the people have.
