Russia claimed Crimea for the same reason they ALWAYS do...because they need the warm water ports with access to the Mediterranean Sea.
Look up the Crimean War. Look who tried to stop them from claiming it then.
No name was there to support the EU resistance to Russia. I'm not taking sides here. I think they were both wrong.
It's more than just propaganda. KGB, because of its socialist origins, is on par with Gestapo when it comes to human rights violations. They made the USSR the nightmare that it was. While it's true that it doesn't necessarily make Putin evil, he certainly has been to all the right evil schools if he chooses to be.
Re: the FBI and CIA, well, the Russians wouldn't be TOOOOOOO far off the mark then, would they be? As disgusting and criminal as the CIA chooses to be in foreign countries, they are children compared to the KGB.
But hey, Putin has done a lot of good for Russia...He puts Russia first like Trump puts America first. Difference is, Trump's administration ends in 2024 latest...when does Putin's end?

My only point is; Putin is an ally.
Sidebar: your understanding of the Crimea situation is based on the officially accepted narrative, not the truth. It’s like accepting that Guccifer 2.0 was behind the DNC hack and that he was working for Russia. Complete fiction

No, it's not like that at all...not all accepted narratives are fiction. Your assertion that it is is the equivalent of verbal diarrhea--pure shit.
