Because making things public will lead to bloodshed via some civil unrest.

If they can keep everything under wraps and avoid it... they will. There is no advantage to going public earlier than when total victory is certain.

They will not compromise the plan for our feelings. We were told to think logically.

Bloodshed and civil unrest are unavoidable at this point. It's better to rip the bandaid off quickly than pull it off slowly hair by hair.

You do realize that you can't possibly have the Intel to out weigh the plan created by the finest Military planners in the world right?

Do you not concede that they perhaps know more information about the situation?

There is nothing wrong with some bloodshed and civil unrest in the name of liberty. We have to embrace the reality that many people in this nation will not be allow themselves to see the truth, are far beyond reasonable or logical and will not be salvageable.
