WHOA this subverse got a makeover. Sweet.

Vinylismist here. I like doing drugs and contemplating life, the universe, consciousness, philosophy, and other cool shit that helps me spiritually and mentally. I find that the altered state of mind that comes from doing drugs helps look at topics from different perspectives which helps to gain new insights and ideas on the topics that are being mulled over. Recently I've been getting into Taoism a bit. As I look into what that's about, I feel that it resonates more and more with my personal view of the universe we're in. Along those lines, I do meditate, though I'm still learning it, but I feel as if the practice is going well. As for drugs that I've done, they would be lots of Weed, some LSD, Shrooms, and DMT. I want to try DOM/STP, Mescaline, and possibly Ayahuasca later on in life. Otherwise, I'm happy with what I've done and the experiences I've had with each, and have never fully regretted taking any of those drugs.

I also like music/vinyl, nature, the bounty of information on the internet, and travelling/weird adventures when I can have them.

As a seeker and curious monkey, Taoism has called to me a lot in the past few years. I'm into Buddhism too, have spent some time on retreat and really love the teachings and community, but Taoism is more suitable for my approach to life. Have you looked into Taoist meditation (microcosmic orbit and the taoist healing sounds are a good place to start) or qigong?

I can't say I've looked into specifically Taoist meditation, or maybe I have and I just don't know it. I do meditate, but I don't know whether or not the method has a specific name or not. I've also never heard of qigong, but I'll look into it. Thanks!

I am Techno_shaman, or Teknos for short. I practice chaos magick and consider myself pretty informed on most things. I havn't done a lot of nose-to-the-book research though since I have another project that takes up a lot of my time. I'm interested in a lot of ideas and have a pretty open mind. I really enjoy the MBTI system and i'm an INTP. I'm not really good at talking about myself but i'm free to answer questions if anyone has them.

Hi Tencho Shaman, can you explain to me what MBTI is? Is that similar to Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy?

Hey guys I'm Obie. I mostly got into psychonaut ideas through drugs but in general I've always been a very quite guy who's questioned how the universe works and what it is. After discovering psyhonauts I was shocked at people coming to conclusions I had reached while thinking about how things worked. I reached my highest level of "enlightenment", " oneness" whatever you like to call it while tripping on LSD. Since then I feel as if I'm in the halfway stage. Ik that that feeling is there and waiting for me, yet I feel like my desire to get there is holding me back. I've done higher doses of LSD sinse yet I haven't gotten to that point. I love reading comments and your guy's ideas yet honestly I feel like I have such a low level of understanding that it stops me from commenting alot so you won't see me much probably. Peace

Hi.

( ( ( <3 ) ) )

Part 1:

LSD saved my life the first time I took it. It let me see that my pessimism and realism about the objective world around me was my own creation.

Two months later I took LSD on spring break and learned all about the way of the tao while partying with my friends.

Three months later I had a kundalini awakening while researching conspiracy theory, the occult, and smoking medical cannabis.

Bought a book on Shamanism.

Eventually tried Shooms, and was told to live in the present.

I began practicing chaos magic and mindfulness to change my mindset and achieve my goals.

I also started doing guided meditations or shamanic journeying to drums twice daily to learn to meditate, which I eventually did learn to do without external aid.

And I began heavy vaped cannabis use intended to open my third eye, as well as wash out my old beliefs that didn’t serve me.

Sooner than later, I gained control of my third eye. I could turn on a white light in my head and when I did I would radiate a profound peace.

DMT found me. The hippies were right. It's all about Love.

Then I took my first big acid trip, and learned about the structure of reality and the source as well as the beauty, divinity and oneness of my fellow humans. I left my old world-view and became a citizen of Earth.

That’s enough history for now.

Hello fellow travelers! I've taken hallucinogens for about 5 years, but was not using them (as I believe I should have been) to gain more insight on my physical, mental, and emotional self for about the first 1 to 2 years. I have recently immersed myself into sacred geometry, orgonite, chakras, and ridding myself of my ego. I've also been doing research into Tibetan Buddhism, and Tai Chi/Qi Gong. Any info on these practices would be great! Hope to talk to you all soon.

Greetings,

I am here to continue my journey. I don't really have an '-ism'.

I need to learn more and get back on my path.

Been dealing with a lot of spiritual anxiety lately. My wife had a recent spiritual awakening, without the use of psychedelics that has left me with many questions.

What kind of questions do you have? I'm sure some people in this sub would be more than happy to offer their suggestions.

I can't even put it into words most of the time. Just gnawing feelings, visions of frantic energy during meditation. I feel compelled to bring something to fruition, but I have yet to decipher the message.

Hey, I'm new over from Reddit. I decided recently that some of the things in life, other than giant investigations into clandestine organizations, could benefit the support of a community. I've been trying to practice dream yoga, astral projection etc, but lucidity is a huge barrier as it only comes very briefly. I'd like to delve into occult systems with groups, as I've stored on my computer basically every single piece on the occult I could find and have always been interested in the subject. I just don't see the merit of practice without evidence of success, and I don't want to risk stepping further into self delusion by lonely self practice. I'm interested in Shamanic traditions, having grown up near Native American reservations has probably been the reason. I don't have any questions about the mind that are very concrete. My high goal is to learn lucidity in dream state so that I might dedicate myself to exploring the other planes, as well as possibly developing personal thought locations like a memory palace or sanctuary, etc. Hope there are other people still visiting this shite, thanks for listening!
