First of all, I apologize if a lot of this is already known. I'm not usually on PV, but @kevdude thought I had useful information and it should be posted here. I'll try to lay it out all as cleanly as I possibly can.
While a lot of us know about HenryCorp's heavyhanded voat moderation, and that the user moderates the same subs and many more on reddit. This, however, is not the end of it. After seeing a comment by Atko asking why they were a problem, I set out to gather evidence to show HenryCorp's malicious use of the website.
Some snooping by previous users led to the discovery of a twitter account with the handle "HenryCorp" and the name "Henry Corp Inc LLC". This was my first stop. I started looking for links that had been posted to that twitter account, reddit, and Voat, and it took next to no scrolling at all to find two different articles on all three websites. Here's the archive of one tweet, the other, an archive of the reddit submissions, and the voat ones.
If you keep browsing the submission histories of all three, you'll see the same links across the websites most of the time. This is textbook spam. HenryCorp is a business formed to profit off of spreading certain narratives. For this reason, HenryCorp is in violation of the User Agreement.
Bonus fact: The website linked on the twitter is other98.org and when looking up Henry Corp on LinkedIn, right under the listing for other98 you can see they worked for MoveOn.org a few years ago. We can verify this is the same person because the twitter account, the LinkedIn,
and even the business registration all put the business in Minneapolis. That should tell you a lot about HenryCorp's motives, and might indicate where some of the money funding them is coming from. While this is not a reason to ban someone, it is reason to be suspicious.
EDIT: Henry Company LLC isn't related to HenryCorp, it was just coincidence they were both in Minneapolis. More info here. This doesn't really change the content of this post and the other facts surrounding the situation, but I apologize for the misinformation. I'd thank the user who helped bring this to my attention by name, but they deleted their post, so I'll respect their privacy.
