I read in one of the other threads here that he's linked to a viral marketer company thats running a progressive campaign. They had pretty solid linked evidence as well.

Edit: heres a thread

https://voat.co/v/AnonTalk/comments/1083470

and someone just linked the archive of the parent site of the site he links to in his twitter: https://archive.is/FeoZe

here's what one of the people involved says on their private site about themselves:

Josh Bolotsky is an online campaigns and social media strategy expert.

Hmm, interesting. I wonder how far spread this is throughout Voat.

Well, check the modlogs. Any kind of small-agenda PR campaign has to silence people who speak out against the pushed agenda, so on a place like Voat where the modlogs are so easily visible, it can become pretty blatantly obvious what is happening.

Can be two things:

  • Marketing

  • Hate speech suppression

(or both).

Put it together:

They are marketing the ability to drive traffic (without having to pay for the platform; adspace, views, and/or clicks etc.) and control the conversation, thereby creating value for their clients.

Capitalism is evil - when someone else does it...

Except, what we define as news, they define as hate speech.

Soon to be illegal hate speech, if it isn't already in the EU.

Basement dwelling troll.

Why else would any person devote that much time to a site that he don't like, and users he doesn't respect.

It's not a 'job' to use deceitful tactics to take over subs and then run them in a way that the community does not want.
That's a hobby.

Maybe we should further limit the max subverse amount? Say five?

I almost think ten is a lot to manage... but I guess tiny subs aren't a lot of work. I don't know.

It's a lot to manage when it's a hobby you do in your spare time, it's not when it's your business model to manicure a demographic for optimal targeting results.

If post history shows posting around the clock I would suspect it's a sock puppet account that multiple people use.

Probably just a fat whiny angry person that hates it when other people have fun.
