First, sorry for saying "you." That's not fair.

And while you have a point, I'll say what I said in the original thread. I don't think the punishment for violating the user agreement should be doxxing. Perhaps this information could have been given to Atko and Puttitout privately.

Anyway, my main point is that obviously people are going to disagree about what should be done about any problem the community has. Someone's we aren't going to come to a resolution on a particular matter, but we should at least make an honest attempt. It's why I created /v/voatcongress, and I really do wish more people of varying opinions would populate the sub do we don't have to have these discussions elsewhere. If PV is going to be the executive branch of voat, maybe we need to develop checks and balances.

Executive branch?

The only power we have is due to people in general trusting what we have to say. The moment we go off the script, we have nothing.

The "checks and balances" are the users of this website. Any assertion to the contrary is pure bullshit.

And an attempt to take the power away from the users and put it into the hands of a few "legislators". You're right on the money as usual.

Yet, the moderators here have not handled criticism from the users very well in my opinion. You control the narrative of the sub with disingenuous tags, and critical contents are more often than not met with rudeness and baseless accusations.

Keep in mind that your subscribers are only a small minority of voaters. Much of the user base sees you as a brigade sub. That's largely because how the moderators here act.
