I believe some people have drawn the line in their own minds as "if it's on the internet, it's not private information - especially for more-or-less public figures."

I believe that's a valid delineation.

It's tough for PV to accept valid, constructive criticism when we constantly are having to fight off trollish attacks. If we didn't have to dig trenches for every little thing, we might be more open to the idea.

You have to realize that PV is going to get trolled. It's impossible to stop.

As a side note: How many users came in here guns-hot asserting that linking to a fucking wiki was "doxxing", as if there couldn't possibly be any better line drawn for that label?

Literally any linked thing with any personal information on it could be considered "doxxing" by that stupid-fuck definition.

And somehow we're supposed to be %100 stoic about everything.

And some should realize that it's possible to not add to the problem, and furthermore, it's possible to actually help.
