Once we get a few folks we will break up the subs and get to it. Shouldn't take more than a couple of days.

Basically a textbook example of a mod who is absentee and should be removed would be @oaken in v/politics. He has been completely MIA for over 2 months and the last time he was on he deleted a couple of comments that he had no business deleting. So he is a "squatter" risk and would be a legitimate target for demodding based on his behavior even if he wasn't absentee.

Or he's just someone who's left and doesn't really care about Voat and has no bad intentions for the sub.

Quite possibly. I would say though, that if he has left and doesn't care about Voat, his account should not be on the mod team of a major public sub.
