I'm really getting sick of seeing this sentiment all over the place.

What makes flairing troll posts hypocritical? There is no censorship going on - the posts are still there, but the obvious trolls and shitposters get a cute little label that allows people that want serious discussion to avoid having to wade through crap posted by people that aren't actually interested in protecting voat from abusive mods.

Mods are janitors, and it seems that the reddit-esque idea that mods = gods is permeating some of the default/massive subverses. This is not acceptable.

Edit:

I, for one, would love for someone actually interested in protecting voat from abusive mods to filter the crap posts by regular shitposters so I didn't have to see 12 useless posts to find one with actual reality-based content. I'm perfectly fine with kevdude, or any of the other mods doing this.

EDIT2:

[Nothing to see here, folks. Just another PV hating, troll, inactive-for-18-days alt account.

Except for the fact my post wasn't a troll?

People are less likely to click on something if it is marked as a troll or shitpost or fake. So yes it is censorship just a different kind of censorship.

Your presence here has been nothing but trollish behaviour from beginning to end. At the very least, every post you make should be flaired with something indicating that you're very possibly shitposting or trolling, as that's all you seem capable of.

It's delicious irony when someone like you finally wants to be taken seriously after being a complete fuckwit at every turn.
