The user Reow made a subverserequest yesterday. His intention is to give AskVoat back to the community.
Some of the troll mods who aren't here for what Voat was created for - a place to freely exchange thoughts and ideas - then decided to go in complete meltdown mode. This, of course, finally revealed that Atko and Puttitout put their faith in the wrong group of people; these are all "she"'s mods and they're effectively offing AskVoat now that she rage quit.

Should we get out on the other side in somewhat decent shape, there's a plan going on for a group of 'bipartisan' mods to cooperate to give AskVoat back to the community after having crafted a (very light) set of rules to be agreed upon by all. The transfer back to the community would be done by getting admins to accept it to be ruled via @System (just like /v/whatever). I have agreed to join this group, provided the only mission for the mod group is to transfer power to @System and nothing more. This was always the best solution; Voat should not have any powermods.
This transfer back to the community would ensure that the community, not mods, hold ultimate power in AskVoat. And it would show Atko that we can fix our differences ourselves, no need for him to be disappointed and make announcements like the one from yesterday.
That peace plan to restore Voat's health might be falling apart. We need to push admins to solve the lack of a L1 mod now and we need to document the trolls that are doing this to AskVoat. Regardless of your side in "she" scandal, that's simply no way to act and it's literally breaking Voat.
