It's not arbitrary. Places like Amazon are in there. Blame the spammers and use archive.is or something.

There are only two people, far as I know, who have/had the ability to edit that list. Atko and Putt. Neither of them seem the type to say 'Hm. I think I'm gonna go ban a few thousand websites from being advertised for shits and giggles'.

I would have to retort: If you don't trust them at least enough to manage a banned domain list, why are you here?

If it's banned, it's very likely because a single user was spamming links to the domain. If you'd like to find out more, go to https://searchvoat.co, search for libertyfighters, and I bet you will find the domain termination thread.
