This is either a deleted account, or one that somebody is taking care to delete all the submissions/comments after a certain amount of time. Neither one of these are unusual, but it is tacky and untrustworthy.

There's nothing wrong with deleting old comments. A lot of people attracted to this type of platform love to read through your comment history and use it against you.

Yeah, but only the past 20(?) pages of comments will remain.

Which is why no one's comment history should be public. Read the shit i write in a thread, i dont care, its why i wrote it. But a human or a bot going thru my history for ANY reason is bullshit and should end here on VOAT. Come on Putt, kill comment history. Publicly accessible Comment History serves no (good) purpose

Yeah, ok. Cleaning out some stuff that might be personally identifiable. Legit.

Clearing out every post you make, and claiming to contribute to the site? Meh. Comments/Submissions should be archived and saved. If you delete it, it should delete all association with your username and show up as 'Anonymous' or something.

I'm all for being anonymous and unidentifiable, but people that delete everything irk me. It's annoying, all of a sudden you have a 2 week old thread that's just deleted comment after deleted comment. Might have been a nifty article I wanted, but all of a sudden you freak out and delete everything. And it's lost.

If you don't want to be identified, just use a throwaway.

This is used by spammers to get the proper CCP. They circle jerk up voat stuff and before the rest of voat notices, they delete it so it can't be DV to oblivion. It's ccp farming.

The account was deleted but retains info for scp, ccp, number of upvotes/downvotes given. This is normal for all deleted accounts.

I don't think this is a deleted account. Got a comment reply from it 30 minutes ago and grabbed the sceenshot right afterward.

The user may have deleted after your screen grab. Go to /v/hallofremembrance as it has good bye posts to users that have deleted their accounts. You'll see that when a user does a full delete (as opposed to an anonymizing posts/submissions 'delete') it retains scp, ccp, up/downvote numbers.

All I know is I've been here almost 2 years, and that guy has 2 SCP more than I do. Now I'm sad.

I lost a lot of SCP in the great purge. I think because I was way more active over a year ago, and a lot of those folks deleted their accounts, so their upvotes all disappeared when Putts was trying to deal with all the alts upvote-spamming themselves.

I could contribute more, but generally what I post gains very little traction, so I rarely bother any more.
