Damn, this is what I've been saying for years.
Anyway, I don't think kev is a shill. I do think it's possible that his pride may be getting in the way of his better judgment, preventing him from readily recanting things he's said, and thereby digging himself into a deeper hole. I also think this is not entirely unreasonable behaviour when under attack from as many different sides as kev is right now: to make concessions or apologize when under attacks as organized as this one could be fatal to his position because his opponents may treat it as an admission of defeat of some kind.
I also think it is unfortunate that the Owner of /v/ProtectVoat has been caught up in a drama himself, since /v/ProtectVoat seems to be used historically to document certain dramas and therefore flair posts made to it. By being in charge of flairing posts pertaining to a drama of which he is a part, a bias has been introduced, leading to a lack of fairness in the dialogue, at least from that angle.
All I expect from people is behaviour in accordance with the moral law. That requires rational action, honesty, and consistency. It seems that all sides of this "Voat civil war" have lacked one aspect or more of this at times.
I never took my moderatorship at /v/ProtectVoat seriously (prior to this drama I never even read the submissions there). I always recognized that PV was a "clique" and I have tried very hard to stay out of Voat "cliques"; I only accepted the more recent mod invite out of politeness and an admiration for /u/kevdude and /u/Crensch. But seeing as this drama seems adamant on escalating, I think I will resign my moderatorship.
Let it be plainly stated that I do NOT do this out of any resentment towards /u/kevdude, or in any way as a means of signalling my "siding" with one party or another. The Lord of Light is my guide, the moral order my compass, and I serve Him alone in all things.

@kevdude appears to be an intelligent, critically minded, reasonable, and overall good-intentioned guy. In my opinion he's just a bit too authoritarian in his decisions and Liberal in his thinking. Those that follow him are probably similar.
In a way, it's no different than SBBH, just in a slightly different vein. I know, because both groups are currently still chasing me around downvoting me, which is increadibly ironic since one of them is chasing me around downvoting me and shutting down what I say while at the same time screaming about Free Speech.
Then again, it's possible the H1B visa programmer Asian phone faggots like WhiteRonin are just playing both sides against each-other since he's in both crowds. He's not alone, sguevar also shuts down when you present him with an argument he cannot twist around.
At least kevdude has the balls to finish a real conversation without sperging out like either Ronin or sguevar, so I don't think @kevdude is all bad. Like I said, he means well, we just fundamentally have different ideology so there are critical things we simply do not agree on. The best kevdude and I can hope for is to compromise and agree to disagree often, and I imagine he'd find that assessment to be fair and not intended to cause drama or fighting.

So what point are you trying to make here? How seriously can we take this claim? In that very topic you asked that very person to support their position about nazi's and SJW's being the same, and all they did was try to weasel their way out of supporting it.
All of this infighting is retarded and there are bigger issues on Voat.

The above acount's entire comment history is intentionally abrasive to troll. Various comments I have screenshots of even admit it, and at various times in the past the bio has been updated to reflect this. Things like "I intentionally say things to rile people up". I'd have to do some digging through my data to find the exact ones and he's legitimately not worth the time but I saw his name and was trying to remember why he's on my user block list.
