Great vid. Thank you OP.

Surely You're Joking Mr Feynman has always been one of my favorite books. Used to read bits of it to the kids when they were young.

Glad you liked it. I did similar with my kids. They turned out alright. One is an MD and the other is happy and productive. So, I can't complain.

Thank you. I left a comment in here on why I feel Feynman is so significant and how I've been influenced by him. I grew up seeing his lectures. Later, I'd read everything he wrote for regular publication. I think I've read all his research papers that were also published and I've now seen most (?) of his recorded video and listened to his recorded audio.

He was such a curious person. He tells a great story about hearing Mongolian throat singing on a record and how that came to be was really a mystery to him. Back then, it wasn't easy and it took him years to learn about this and to eventually get permission to travel to Mongolia and actually listen to it in person and see how it was done.

He was truly remarkable, in so very many ways.

Richard Feynman is awesome. His 'Richard Feynman: Physics is fun to imagine' will always be one of my fav. videos.

I suspect you'll really enjoy this, then. He's been a great influence, role model, and advocate - even from beyond the grave and all these years later.

Coincidentally.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Richard_Feynman

Richard Phillips Feynman was born on May 11, 1918, in Queens, New York City,[2] to Lucille née Phillips, a homemaker, and Melville Arthur Feynman, a sales manager,[3] originally from Minsk in Belarus,[4] in those days part of the Russian Empire; both were Lithuanian Jews.

Y'all have pretty much made me realize that Jewish people are the most awesome people on the planet. I didn't much care about their race or religion, but you tell me they are responsible for sex, drugs, rock and roll, and science. Go Jews! They are my new favorite people.

Because you can't admit that there is such word like "deception".

This was the face of science when I grew up. This is who I sometimes aspire to be. I think we can all be improved by trying to be a little more like Feynman.

This will take about an hour of your time, but enrich you for the rest of your days. It may inspire you. Feynman's greatest impact on me has been the urge to collect and share my stories. To share the little things that have helped me learn to be the person I have become.

So, I'd strongly urge, and greatly appreciate, folks seeing this documentary. We can all be a little more Feynman. The world certainly could use more of him.
