After she lost the 2016 election, most 'donations' to the Foundation stopped because donors realized she couldn't help them anymore. The Foundation had to lay off a lot of workers and shut down offices.
Cut to now. No news agency runs a story without a tip or hearing certain 'chatter'. I wouldn't be surprised if her staff gave the news outlets a tip that Hilary might run in 2020. And upon hearing this, new donations will start flooding in.
Now would be an interesting time for people with the know-how to follow the new money.
