Actually what you're seeing now IS the recropped version. I just replaced the file with the cropped one. It used to be even farther and was in a 16:9 aspect ratio. Do you think it'd benefit from an even tighter crop? I'd be worried about losing quality if I crop further.

A tighter framing I think would of made this have more impact. Maybe even a different crop could add something, perhaps keeping the bottom far interest but cropping off the top just above the man on the rocks.

Hmmm I think you're probably right. If only I had brought my telephoto that day! Maybe I'll play around with some different crops and see if I don't like it better.

I would say keep him in the top right ROT but zoom in more roughly 25% more.

Really not a bad picture. I like the detail and contrast and colors throughout the rocks and the scene in general.
