The next performance large enough to warrant my presence is the weekend before Thanksgiving. So, I'll be going home then. I'll be there for a couple of weeks, maybe. I'm pretending that I'll be there until after the holidays, but I don't see that happening. Nobody is going to be surprised when it doesn't happen. Nobody...

This morning, someone tried to convince me to go fishing down here. I ain't going fishing. If I want to fish, I'll go home. That's also where I store my fish! Convenient. If I want fish, they'll bring me fish - and pair it with a delicious wine.

Have you read the PDF? I forget the title of said PDF, but I think I dimly recall which one you speak of. I do drugs, you know.

Also, I've studied BB extensively, but I am pretty sure we've had this discussion.

I'd add that it's sometimes hard to watch that sort of stuff and not study it - and that kinda sucks, but I am pretty sure we've discussed that a dozen times.

That will save some time!

I'm still stuck trying to think of a way to make it an experience. Preferably without LSD. I don't have any of that immediately to hand! I'm open to suggestions.

The last week of the year has 3 big days to share with family. Maybe have your son join you all "in the suites" and have everyone together. Use the staff for all the necessities which would give the kids, particularly your daughter, a break. Heck, have them bring a tree up there but you and EH need to share decorating it. I'll make an old-softy GRANDPA out of you yet.

BTW, maybe you have an address now that's safe enough for me to use?

If you give a man a fish he'll order wine. If you teach a man to fish he'll sit in a boat and drink beer all day. Pick your poison.

This one: Pink Floyd All the Songs - Jean-Michel Guesdon

Lottsa nuggets and perfect for my purposes.

Even after all these years I also can't help but watch with focus, particularly on the drummers, and the whole stage presentation. The technical parts will always be as interesting to me as the art produced. Love me some smoke bombs, lasers, giant pigs, and crashing planes. I remember the wet light shows that Jefferson Airplane used when I saw them in the late 60's (maybe early '70's, I used to do drugs too.)

Be it far from me being able to suggest a way a man of your histories to enhance the experience. I mean it's basically about the life of a Rock Star, I was only one in my mind.

I think I can pretty much sit there and play through the entire movie and get it close to right for most of it. Some I can match pretty damned well.

But, that puts the focus on me - when I'd really be hoping to show what can be accomplished. Which, really, isn't a great first experience with the movie.

I'm kinda at a loss.

Her idea is, "We could just watch the movie." It's a valid option.

Now I remember the book. I saw it and pirated it for you, as I recall. Something like that.

And, I'm not making any plans too far ahead, except vague ideas. I'm quite enjoying the respite from plans and obligations. I have a whole lot fewer obligations right now.

I could get used to this!

I'm a sucker for well-done pyrotechnics and fog machines. I wish I could say I was above such frivolities, but I'm not.

Also, I think I forgot to tell you that the band performed last weekend. So, I should tell you that. The band performed last weekend. Some fairly small (for us) bar. I ain't doing that. They've got that. They don't need my help. 'Snot like anyone there will know the difference. 'Snot like anyone there will even remember how many musicians were on stage, or their names or what they looked like. Also, the pay was lower and it's better for them to minimize expenses when they're getting paid less. It's just good fiscal sense!
