You absolutely should play there. I'm sure some of your classical pieces would be well received and you need an audience who would, and could, appreciate it (judging by the type of clientele you've described). You wouldn't even need to bring the lasers :).
That was an interesting song. I even looked up the lyrics. Was not expecting the mariachi-style horns. In context, I can hear a reason for playing it. And EH, don't stop singing, even if "We either have no taste or bad hearing." I'm sure it's delightful, and yes, adorable.
See, I'm expanding my horizons and most of the time it's been a good thing. Sigh, now I'll listen to the other one, but I'm not going to like it.

You could try liking it. Even EH likes Zevon. She has good taste.
And, I might go play there some night. It's full of wealthy snobs, usually. They're the kinda place that employs wine experts...
I'm not sure I like 'em well enough to let 'em hear me play music. They're the kind of people that own Bentley's and don't do burnouts in them. They're the kind of people that wear a jacket and tie - because that's what they do, and not because they have to. I bet none of them have ever snorted cocaine off a hooker's ass, or drank cheap beer in a trailer park.
Yeah... I might go play for 'em. I've got time. I'll be here, off an on, for a while. The place is leased for almost an entire year.
