Riddit admins had been setting T_D posts to zero so they wouldnt hit the front. T_D modsfinally had enough and declared war on reddit. They made a sticky w all their grievances and posted that to T_D, created ThePedes here and stickied that same post. Many Pedes arrived. Two things happened here, ThePedes claimed to be the Official the Donald sub on Voat, (which rightly pissed off our TheDonald) and a few of the Pedes seemed to think that Voat now belonged to T_D/ThePedes. Which rightly pissed off the rest of voat.

Then reddit suspended the main T_D mod responsible for the declaration of war u/OhSnapYouGotServed. Then banned her and two others. The remaini g T_D mod took it private.

Or, there are those who believe a more nefarious story w those details but w buttons being pushed behind the scenes.

That pretty much takes up to now. I assume you saw the announcement from Putt about our finances. Because I left that part out

Thanks.

Putt's in a little bit of a quandary. New influx of cash but still nothing for long-term revenue.

Yeah exactly. Lots of donations out of the blue at the 11th hour, but also an increase in traffic costs. And we still face the long term. Been an interesting two days. And a very amusing migration. Some absolutely brutal trolling of the new guys.

r/The_Donald went private to protest the banning of three of their mods, including the top mod. They broke the no linking to r/politics rule the admins placed on them, and only them. In reality, it's more likely because of the Seth Rich case being broke open. Either the admins took over the sub or its moderating ability has been neutered. There is nothing that the community gains from the sub going private.

I haven't been on Reddit in years but I just went to look. I don't get the "private" message. It says I don't have access.

Is it gone?

Reddit is dead baby, Reddit is dead.

Well, dead but still moving. The carcus that was reddit, is now full of maggots - cucks, sjws, and spineless filth.

We needed a place to go. Given time, us reddifugees will assimilate with you fine, lovely people. The ones that dont should get fucked by a 2x4

I had to block the sub. It's more reddit circle jerk bullshit. No real discussions, just faggots doing faggot shit.

Don't block them engage and beat them down, if they don't learn they will bring their faggot quality posts to other subs

Reddit kicked out a few faggot T_D mods, you know? the worst of the fucking worst of the trash, and they came here and made /v/Pedes. Doing what they do they started their same old faggotry of banning and deleting. That didn't go well so they kinda went silent.

The v/thedonald made a power grab for the /r/thedonald users and told them they were thedonald subverse to be at. The resulting migration brought in a horde. A horde of fucksticks. It's bad. Prepare your aqss for meming, shitposts and "Voat is T_D now/ We own voat now, we make the rules" type of shit.

TLDR: we should have braced the walls and manned the barricades two days ago when Putt said we were going broke. We were ripe for takeover and here we are.

By the way, when I see weird stuff on /v/all, /v/meanwhileonreddit is typically where I check first.

Reddit admins banned top three The_Donald mods. In "response" the remaining mods made the subreddit private.

Why?

So the sub wasn't banned?

Why, what?

Wasn't outright banned, most likely just subverted.

Okay the long and the short of it is this, Reddits got about 5 "big" anti trump subreddits, subreddits that repeatedly break site wide rules for user behavior, block voting, and brigading. Quite a few users and mods of The_Donald have been doxed by these people (never click on random links with Google docs or facebook) and the anti trump subreddit moderators basically feign ignorance or are openly promoting this kind of behavior while the mod team of The_Donald has been told by the admins they are on double secret (not secret) probation, "one rule for us one for you" kinda shit.

The mods decided they weren't going to be micromanaged by an admin team that is more than likely protecting and providing support for the anti trump crowd. The admins have tried to force the_donald mods hand quite a few times in order to sanitize and contain the_donald users and a lot of it has worked in the past but this last straw broke the camels back and I think the top mod of the_donald basically said "come get me, I carry a gun" which is probably used against him when he got banned.

Comes down to the Seth Rich story is not dying as fast as the anti trump crowd want it too and the latest Trump = Russia angle isn't sticking and neither is Comey's firing, a lot of news media are trying to spin this merging the two into Russia told Trump to fire Comey. This all basically boils down to how little control news media has and how little control Reddit admins really have without outright interferance.

Now notice I wrote "big" earlier when describing the size of the anti trump subreddits. Thats because their user subs vs visibly active users vs voting is off, more than likely there is a large collection of fake accounts manipulating everything so the narratives can be driven however the mods / power users want.
