I spent quite a bit of time creating a new bolt for a 1927 iver-johnson .22short/.22/.22lr single shot bolt action, after finding that sourcing a bolt is impossible.(model x) I do a ton of auto repairs out of my "shed", as well as discovering that carbide rasps(1/4" die grinder bits) do wonders for flat bottom milling of(predrilled) 70-75 aluminium.
