The whole "life lottery" concept has always seemed a bit hollow to me - like when people were say you were lucky to be born a white man, or to be born American. There is no luck involved in it at all. The movements and actions of your parents and other direct ancestors directly influence what you're born as. When you were conceived and were brought to life as a being in this universe, the only thing that could be considered "luck" could be whether or not you wound up male or female. Besides that, after conception, there was no luck as to where or to whom you were being born to.
All this is inaccurate if you're Buddhist or whatever but who gives a fuck about them really
