Is Voat a fed nest?
Very possibly. Particularly in the system subs where brigading is possible. But this sub is an oasis from it. Their downvotes will have no effect on your CCP here.
We reserve the right to ban anyone we deem to be disruptive without notice.
If you are observed calling another poster Jewish on Voat you will be banned in this sub.

It's not even close. I think it was Lionel Trilling (or Arthur Schlesinger - not sure) that said America's intellectual heritage is a liberal one. William F. Buckley started National Review fully cognizant of the dearth of intellectualism on the right. And the American scene is a fair chunk of the Western tradition by itself.
My position is more in the vein of Alain de Benoist than Scott Adams though. It is not the goals or principles of the left I usually like. It is their ideas and innovation. They are dynamic. I said most of the good ideas come from the left. That is true. But so do most of the bad ones. They have most of the ideas.

I'm drawn to left-articles, but I'm reminded of this effect:

This happens when I read a great religious piece from commonwealmagazine.org and then one of their pieces about Pres. Trump where I can recognize errors*.
*Usually I know more about what Pres. Trump has recently done than anything else.

I watched the Scott Adams periscope earlier and that part was memorable: it came to mind when I saw your comment about left-ideas.
