Is Voat a fed nest?
Very possibly. Particularly in the system subs where brigading is possible. But this sub is an oasis from it. Their downvotes will have no effect on your CCP here.
We reserve the right to ban anyone we deem to be disruptive without notice.
If you are observed calling another poster Jewish on Voat you will be banned in this sub.

I agree with that; the secular Ba'ath movement could have potentially made the Arab world considerably better (and consequently not a vast reservoir of potential immigrants to Europe) than the religiously inspired wave of politicians that replaced the secularists, thanks to U.S. geopolitical strategy.
I overall feel that Western Europe and the U.S. form some sort of overarching entity though. A Western Europe not closely allied with the U.S. seems an aberration to me.

European neoliberals will drop relations with the US if Trump likes are keep on getting elected . Right now all the money flows to the US and by the time German money start going that way they EU bureaucrats will strike . You think all those gargantuan fines to facebook and google happen because they care about our privacy ?

Europeans dropping the US security guarantee means they'll have to spend money they don't have on defense. Plus there are too many European states that want the US over any plausible alternative. Poland, Romania, and the Baltic states are going to take a Franco-German military bloc over what they get now? No way.
