Is Voat a fed nest?
Very possibly. Particularly in the system subs where brigading is possible. But this sub is an oasis from it. Their downvotes will have no effect on your CCP here.
We reserve the right to ban anyone we deem to be disruptive without notice.
If you are observed calling another poster Jewish on Voat you will be banned in this sub.

"The alt right" is psyop. The idea is when faced with a legitimate and disparate grassroots opposition (i.e. general conservative sentiment) you create a fake weak opponent facade and label them as that. You also start generating opinion and accruing followers as that weak facade.
There isn't one centralized movement and they can't use their usual tactics without someone specific to aim at. So they create a parody which they control, and attribute everything to that. It will also draw legitimate followers due to being a focusing point.
For instance the MSM will always label grassroots conservative leaders as 'alt right figure heads' regardless of actual political or ideological doctrine. Its the exact same reason ethno-nationalism is lumped in with ethno-centrism and ethno-supremacist thought. Ethno nationalists actually have a really strong ideological basis, but the other two do not.
