Is Voat a fed nest?
Very possibly. Particularly in the system subs where brigading is possible. But this sub is an oasis from it. Their downvotes will have no effect on your CCP here.

There is a distinctive difference between European/big city Turks (who are much more educated, liberal, pro-secular and pro-Western), and Asian/countryside Turks (who are much more uneducated, conservative, pro-Islam and anti-Western). The immigrants to West Germany have been pre-dominately Anatolians from the Asian countryside, so Turkey wasn't exactly sending their best. Not that their best were exactly excited do dig ditches for a tiny wage.
The few European Turks I have met turned out OK and compatible enough, but they are a rarity among ex-patriates found in Germany, usually restricted to academic circles. Your average construction worker, Dönermann or hustler is much, much more likely to be of Anatolian stock and an avid supporter of Erdogan's anti-western rollback.
