How is it solely called the 'Arab Slave Trade'? Many of the participants were Berbers, hence the name Barbary Coast while the regions were the suzerainty of the Ottoman Turks. Not saying Arabs weren't involved, since they are large part of the population of the Barbary Coast and Ottoman Empire, but it seems more like an Islamic Slave Trade.

True there still is a racist connotation to it, just that Turks and Berbers also participated, rather than solely Arabs.

Arab in the cultural sense I think, islam and arab language basically

It's not for random reason if tunysians don't speak tunysian or lybians don't speak lybian or algerians speak algerian...
