Is Voat a fed nest?
Very possibly. Particularly in the system subs where brigading is possible. But this sub is an oasis from it. Their downvotes will have no effect on your CCP here.
We reserve the right to ban anyone we deem to be disruptive without notice.
If you are observed calling another poster Jewish on Voat you will be banned in this sub.

I said this on another thread:

It's something of an open question how to view Russian demographics. At this point Russians should be viewed as a hostile group vis-a-vis their attitude toward Westerners. It's fair to say they are more hostile than some Muslim populations. And one could argue that a more homogeneous population would increase its military potential for external attack.
Because like it or not if or when the bullets start flying and Afro-American and Hispanic soldiers are exchanging rifle fire with Russians near the Polish border the fact that Ivan has better skin tone isn't going to lead to us rooting for him.
Well, except for the traitors and LARPers, that is. Those will tend to get serious when their side is getting shot at and enduring bombing of their cities though. Fundamentally backing the other guy in a gun fight isn't a viable survival plan.
On the other hand homogeneity tends to promote stability - which also has some value from the perspective of Russia's adversaries.
But in dealing with a potential opponent in war who could do you severe damage it isn't great if he gets stronger. And being pleased if he does is a little deluded. Sort of akin to some Frenchie hailing the German birthrate some years before the Franco-Prussian War. And in this prospective war, where anything of military value adds to Ivan's calculation that he can take a risk and win, it could go nuclear.
