Just like the new Beauty and the Beast movie, where the cast is 30% black people in 1700's France, before slavery was abolished.

Even most slaves in rome weren't black, they were whites from northern wars and western expansion.

With modern day technology we have no use for antiquated pieces of farm equipment.

You are technically correct. Since they are worthless as slaves or citizens they should be sent back to africa.

  1. Being Roman wasn't a matter of race. The requirement for being a Roman was "Step foot in Rome and you are Roman". So, yes, there were black Romans.

  2. There wouldn't be any white women in Rome until the 1st century A.D.

The reason you have the assumptions you have is because you spend more time watching movies than you do reading history books. You probably watched Spartacus and said to yourself "Well, Kirk Douglas was white, so I guess the Thracians must have been white. And the Romans are white in the movie and speak with an upperclass English accent, so they SURELY were white. IT MAKES PERFECT SENSE BECAUSE MOVIE LOGIC!!!"
