Is Voat a fed nest?
Very possibly. Particularly in the system subs where brigading is possible. But this sub is an oasis from it. Their downvotes will have no effect on your CCP here.

Just finished Frank Herbert's DUNE series. Amazing stuff, very much worth reading. And very appropriate for the time we're living in. http://oi64.tinypic.com/6iwme8.jpg
I'm partway through a book written about the series and author, by his son Brian. This feller has tried to capitalise on his dad's genius by writing prequels and sequels, but from what I've seen of his writing so far, Frank must be spinning in his grave.
I'm pondering over my next purchase... Anyone approve of this? http://www.infowarsshop.com/The-Making-of-The-President_p_1961.html Both the author and Alex himself said they'd sign the first few hundred copies... Is it daft to buy it? Jones entertains me greatly, and I wouldn't mind supporting him, and get a little memento at the same time.

James Ellroy - White Jazz
One of the best contemporary crime writers in my opinion. Nothing all too political but rumor has it that he's probably on our side of the fence when it comes to politics.

I'm re-reading the 48 Laws of Power, by Robert Greene. One law a day, as a refresher.
Also wading through Makers of Modern Strategy: Military Thought from Machiavelli to Hitler, by Edward Mead Earle.
