Is Voat a fed nest?
Very possibly. Particularly in the system subs where brigading is possible. But this sub is an oasis from it. Their downvotes will have no effect on your CCP here.

If you are observed calling another poster Jewish on Voat you will be banned in this sub.

This is one of the areas where I disagree with Milo. How people are treated based on their religious affiliation, or lack thereof, is very much a regional thing. I can't tell you how many times I've gotten Jehovah's Witnesses, or Mormons when they were door knockers, to go full retard when they'd come to my door by telling them I was an atheist.
Militant atheism is very much a young persons game. As people mature and get older they realize they don't have time for that stuff. It's tiring and immature. And honestly it doesn't make them any better than the assholes who feel the need to preach to you just because you have a difference of in ideas and just want to be left alone.
Case in point, any time the subject of religion comes up and people ask for my opinion on it, I tell them "I'm not religious, and that religion is a personal thing and should stay that way", they feel the need to go on some 5 to 10 minute rant about their beliefs and it's done so in a preachy way. Honestly, I just told you I really didn't care, and I care less if you can't condense your thoughts into a few sentences.

If you're not religious, then why should your opinion about religion matter at all? Why not just keep it to yourself?

"If you're not Muslim, then why should your opinion of Islam matter at all? Why not just keep it to yourself?"
Or
"If you're not a scientist, then why should your opinion about science matter at all? Why not just keep it to yourself?"
I could literally do that with anything. Want me to keep going to illustrate how ridiculous of an idea it is?
And you very clearly ignored this part that I wrote:
If someone asks for your opinion on it, then it suddenly matters.
