I was born into a Roman Catholic family, this is the 1st I have heard of that. None of the men in my family are cut and neither are my male cousins in Italy. From my understanding, Christians of all denominations are not required to do it.
I've also read the medical arguments for and against circumcision. It seems the medical journals that are non-American insists that it is an unnecessary procedure, whereas the American ones insists that it should be mandatory and is beneficial. One of the arguments are that it prevents STDs. However, the European nations have very low rates of STDs and many countries there hardly practices it, except for the Jews, Mudslimes, and maybe a few goyim here and there either for aesthetic purposes or it is medically needed.

Roman Catholics do it as well. I was circumcised when I was 9. Still remember it. It sucked.
Though circumcision, from my reading on it, the negatives far outweigh the positives. I have a copy pasta somewhere on my computer. Will link later.
